A street festival needs protection — not a building site. Berlin-Cube is set up temporarily on the existing surface and removed afterwards. No foundations, no intervention in the square.

Temporary protection without foundations
Events are temporary — their protection should be too. The modules stand on the existing surface, without foundations and without structural changes. After the event, the installation is removed again. The protection itself is tested: DEKRA generation 1 to IWA 14-1 N2A, EU patent EP3486374.
Open for visitors, closed for vehicles
Drivable ramps and tactile paving sit between the modules — the route stays open for everyone, including prams, wheelchairs and bikes. And where emergency routes must remain clear, the modules are placed in a staggered layout — protected and still passable. Instead of crowd barriers, visitors see trees, planting and seating.
Demonstrated in Wustermark
We showed what a temporary set-up looks like at the outlet centre in Wustermark, Brandenburg — set up as a demonstration for decision-makers from politics and public administration: three modules in a continuous line, with an e-bike charging station, a tree and an advertising surface. The module is a platform.
